November 10th, 2011 · Leave a Comment
There is good news for St. Johns County-based companies that import materials or goods from foreign countries. The county will be added to Northeast Florida’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), first established in 1980. The FTZ, based at the Jacksonville Port Authority, is the first of Florida’s 20 FTZs to receive enhanced status to expand more quickly and easily under a new U.S. Department of Commerce program.
