Since its mid-January launch, the JAX Boldest contest has attracted a remarkable response. Highlighting the region’s brightest and boldest accomplishments, the contest has received more than 100 entries from individuals and groups vying to be called the area’s most innovative company, creative project or nonprofit. The contest is seeking entries and votes at www.jaxboldest.com. The deadline to enter is March 31. Contest voting ends at midnight on April 7.

Web.com Group today announced plans to create more than 200 new jobs during the next two years, with a majority of the new positions slated for its Jacksonville headquarters. Web.com provides a range of Web services for small businesses worldwide. The publicly traded company has steadily grown since its inception in Jacksonville in 1997 and now has 450 employees locally.
