TrailMark Hosting 7th Annual Conquer the Trails 5K Race on Feb. 10

The nature-first community of TrailMark is hosting the 7th annual Conquer the Trails 5K on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024. The road race, which starts at 9 a.m. and is open to all, takes place in the beautiful natural settings of the TrailMark community in St. Johns County.

The race is professionally chip timed by Florida Race Day 5K. All participants receive a race shirt (while supplies and sizes last – first come, first served.) All finishers receive a 5K finishers medal. Awards will be given out to fastest male and female runners in the following categories: Top male and female overall, ages 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.

Packet pick up is at the TrailMark’s Amenity Center on race morning from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. The amenity center is located at 805 TrailMark Drive, St. Augustine, Fla. 32092. TrailMark is located five miles west of the I-95/International Golf Parkway exit #323 on Pacetti Road.

The race entry fee is $35 and will increase to $40 after the first 75 people register. Visit https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/StAugustine/ConquertheTrails5kRace to register for the Conquer the Trails 5K.

The charity partner for the Conquer the Trails 5K is Fur Sisters – Furever Urs Rescue, a nonprofit organization that saves dogs from overcrowded shelters and other urgent situations. The volunteer run, foster based rescue provides veterinary care and anything needed by the foster to care for the dog until adopted. Fur Sisters has found wonderful forever homes for more than 1,000 dogs since the rescue was founded in 2016.

TrailMark has been carefully designed around its natural environment, creating opportunities for residents to connect with nature and their neighborhood. While at the Conquer the Trails 5K, visitors are invited to explore TrailMark’s miles of trails and parks, community amenities center with beach-entry pool and beautifully decorated model homes.
