ULI North Florida and NAIOP invite members and guests to attend a highly informative luncheon meeting with guest speaker Tom Murphy, a three-term Mayor of Pittsburgh. Murphy will speak on “Building a Competitive City,” sharing his expertise on how he turned Pittsburgh around.
The luncheon will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.
As mayor, Murphy trimmed the city’s workforce by more than 1,000, a reduction of nearly 21 percent. An economic revitalization visionary, Murphy directed more than $4 billion in new investment in the city — from office towers for two of the city’s nationally ranked banks to new world-class facilities for the city’s professional football and baseball teams to an expanded downtown convention center.
The cost to attend is $35 for NAIOP and ULI North Florida members, $50 for non-member guests. VIP Tables of 8 are available. To reserve a seat or table, click here.
