W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. is pleased to announce the highly anticipated grand opening of its new headquarters building, a testament to the company’s resilience and dedication.

The building is located at 524 Stockton Street. August 31 has become a symbolic date in W. W. Gay’s history as it was not only the date of the fire that destroyed their original building in 2020, but it was also when they officially broke ground on the new building just last year. It is only fitting that W. W. Gay will open the doors to the new building and the next chapter of the company on this date, too.

The new two-story 49,665-square foot building sits on close to 4 acres, replacing the old headquarters building. Auld & White Constructors LLC has served as contractor on the project with Kasper Architects + Associations Inc. as architect. The building, which will house employees that have been displaced since the fire, will also contain many features:

• Large break room perfect for fellowship amongst employees
• Gathering areas throughout entirety of building to invite more collaboration
• Windows to bring in natural lighting
• Training room and outdoor patio
