Mark your calendars for the 2011 Jacksonville Jazz Festival held May 26-29 over Memorial Day weekend. Each year, the City of Jacksonville chooses original artwork that is converted into the commemorative poster as well as other promotional pieces. This year’s poster is Drop’n the Groove by local artist Pamela Miller.
Posters are available to purchase at the City of Jacksonville Office of Special Events, 117 W. Duval Street or the Official Jacksonville Jazz Festival Store, 303 N. Laura Street. Posters are also available online at http://www.makeascenedowntown.com/Shop.aspx. The poster is $40 for a signed and numbered copy and $25 for an unsigned copy; prices will go up after the festival.
