Canine Frisbee Disc Championships Seeking Vendors!

June 3rd, 2010 · Leave a Comment

If you’re looking for a great place to exhibit and promote your business, here’s a tip. Vendors are being sought for the 10th annual Florida State Canine Frisbee Disc Championships.

The popular annual event will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at Mandarin High School. In past years, more than 1,000 spectators and their dogs have turned out to see the canine athletes perform.

The sport was first developed more than 35 years ago as a spinoff from Ultimate Frisbee. Each disc dog team is made up of a canine and a human handler. Teams compete at various levels, ranging from basic toss-and-fetch competitions to high-level freestyle contests with music, choreography and canine acrobatics.

The event offers a great marketing opportunity. Organizers are allowing vendors to set-up booths around the track of the competition field. All vendor booths must be set up by 3 p.m.

For more information on vendors, email [email protected] or call (919) 302-3227. For more information on the event, visit  www.k9frisbee.com.

We’re looking forward to seeing the disc dog stars perform and hope you can join us!
