The community of Old San Jose on the River recently welcomed Jody Dughi as its first single-family home resident.

The popular riverfront community on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic san Marco neighborhood is showing no signs of slowing down the impressive sales trends that ignited last year. Last month, Old San Jose on the River sold out of its luxury condominium residences and recorded more than $6.1 million in sales volume for January 2013.

In 2012, the community achieved 32 sales of single-family homes and condominiums for more than $18 million sales volume. Old San Jose on the River also garnered a 42 percent market share for single-family homes sales that went under contract in 2012 for the same price range in the San Marco and San Jose area of Jacksonville.

“Isn’t it amazing that we are starting out 2013 by moving our first single-family owner into the community and we are nearly sold out of these homes,” said Victoria “Vikki” Robbins of Victoria Robbins Realty, Inc., the real estate company responsible for sales at Old San Jose. “Everyone interested should visit us soon because these home sites will not be available for long.”

Last year, Old San Jose on the River launched sales of its single-family homes and triplex condominium homes. Sales at Old San Jose on the River have skyrocketed since the opening of the community’s first designer-decorated model, the Avondale, showcasing its single-family floor plans. The response to the new single-family homes has been so strong that there are only seven single family home sites including three riverfront home sites remaining. More information is available here.

“We’ve experienced a phenomenal pace of sales at Old San Jose but there are still wonderful locations and home styles select from. My best advice is to make plans to come see what we have to offer soon,” Robbins said. “We have experienced great success and opportunities are limited. But our team will not be going away because we have something else in the works, too. Watch for an announcement soon.”
