Jacksonville – Second Cheapest Rent, Second Largest Rent Increase

RENTCafe just released their monthly rent report with data compiled from actual rents charged in the 250 largest US cities. The early beginning of the rental season saw rent prices increase by 3.2% over the year — the lowest annual growth in more than 6 months. Compared to last year’s figure, the March average national rent of $1,430/month is $44 higher.

THE PLAYERS Championship today announced Marsha Oliver, formerly Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry’s Director of Public Affairs, as the event’s new Senior Director of Community Outreach. Oliver’s transition to this role comes after the retirement of longtime Community Outreach Director Cathie Hurlburt, whose 28-year career with the PGA TOUR included overseeing THE PLAYERS’ charitable and military outreach initiatives.
