The St. Johns Builders Council announces the St. Johns County Parade of Homes will open on Saturday, Aug. 31, and continue through Sunday, Sept. 15. The event showcases the finest new homes in St. Johns County.

“There has been a significant increase in building activity throughout St. Johns County, making this an excellent time to visit the St. Johns County Parade of Homes and see the latest innovations in home design trends,” said Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) President Dennis Ginder, president of Landon Homes. “The Parade of Homes features an extensive variety of new construction homes in a wide range of prices. I encourage everyone to plan a tour and see all that we have to offer.”

Featuring builder model homes in St. Johns County, the event offers visitors a free, self-guided tour of 19 new construction homes. The Parade’s winning entries and Judges’ Choice Awards will be announced at the Awards Banquet on Aug. 29 at Marsh Creek Country Club.

This year’s showcase home is sponsored by Providence Homes and appears on the Parade of Homes magazine cover. The company’s Normandy model in Durbin Crossing offers 4,307 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The Normandy model is located at 1801 Duthie Park Court in St. Johns.

The 2013 St. Johns County Parade of Homes magazine will be included in the Florida Times-Union and St. Augustine Record on Saturday, Aug. 31. It will also be available for viewing on the St. Johns Builders Council website. More information is available at www.stjohnsbuilderscouncil.com.
