HabiJax to Build 25 Homes in Six Days in Historic Neighborhood of New Town

HabiJax Raises More than $25,000 at 25th Anniversary Gala

 Burlap tablecloths and bright-flowered centerpieces were incorporated into Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) HabiJax, “Home Sweet Home” –themed gala at the Jacksonville Public Library Courtyard. More than 160 people, including donors, volunteers and homeowners gathered to celebrate 25 years of turning the dream of homeownership into a reality for more 1,850 families.

Ann and David Hicks and Delores and Wayne Weaver Each Donate $1 Million to HabiJax

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) received a donation from both Ann and David Hicks and Delores and Wayne Weaver for $1 million dollars each, for a total of $2 million. The funds are lead gifts for HabiJax's $16 million dollar campaign to revitalize New Town.

Sisler Johnston Interior Design Completes New HabiJax Model in New Town

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) recently opened its first fully furnished model on Windle Street in New Town as part of a revitalization project in the historic neighborhood west of downtown. The model was decorated and furnished by award-winning interior designer Judith Sisler Johnston of Sisler Johnston Interior Design.

HabiJax Celebrates First Fully Furnished Model Home with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
