We have some great news to share about Builders Care, the charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). The organization with the assistance of numerous volunteers recently completed the renovation of the recreation center at Daniel, a nonprofit agency that assists Jacksonville children and families.

The Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and the NEFBA Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) recently honored the best in marketing and sales in the Northeast Florida building community at its 2012 Laurel Awards at Nocatee’s Crosswater Hall. More than 30 awards were presented at the annual event.

The 7th annual SMC holiday auction, held during the monthly NEFBA/SMC breakfast program, featured auctioneer Bill Elrod auctioning a wide range of items contributed by members. A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit the children and youth at Daniel, a multi-service agency that assists children, adolescents and families. During the event, individual members and companies dropped off gifts for Daniel’s Christmas Wish List Collection so that every child has gifts to open this holiday. Guests attending the event also donated teddy bears to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
