Fans were treated to seven new venues at THE PLAYERS in 2011, and this year they can anticipate the addition of three more new venues when the tournament returns to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 7-13. The new venues, all of which are open to the public (no upgraded ticket necessary), are Wine & Dine on 9, The Oasis and the Kid Zone by THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

THE PLAYERS Championship announces a new partnership with Daily’s to promote its Family Plan for THE PLAYERS 2012. Starting today, fans can purchase THE PLAYERS Family Plan at 26 Northeast Florida Daily’s convenience stores for $89, a savings of $40. The Family Plan includes two adult grounds tickets, unlimited youth tickets and a $20 concessions credit.

THE PLAYERS Championship today announced a major commitment to two local colleges – University of North Florida and Florida State College at Jacksonville – expanding its current partnership by creating a $500,000 scholarship endowment at each school over the next five years. By the completion of the new and enhanced endowments, these funds will become the largest scholarship in the Jacksonville area.
